Your Own Susan Boyle! Just 14 quids!

The Susan Boyle thing has reached new heights of ridicularity! And if that's not a word, then it should be. I'm soo writing to the dictionary people. Anyway...
Yes, you can now own your very own miniature bushy browed Britain's Got Talent phenomenon. A woman in the States has created the doll out of wire and pegs and some other stuff and is asking you to part with just 14 of your hard earned monitary units in exchange for one. Pass.

Also on this morning's show, we found out that Leigh Doyle was almost unwittingly the star of a sex show in Majorca! Listen out for the new Beat Breakfast Podcast on Friday for more!

We also found out the meaning behind some of the brand names that you hear every day but never stop to think about. eg WD40 = Water Displacement, 40th attempt (at getting it right) Fascinating stuff! How about Aldi...That's half of Albrecht (as in the place) and the first two letters of the word discount! B&Q = Block and Quayle. The sat-nav company Garmin gets its name from founders Gary Burell and Dr Min Kao. There are loads. Here's where you'll find more.

After yesterday's victory for Vinny's Big Hard One, today's was a tad easier...
What Spanish instrument's familiar name and fisherman's occupation are the same?
ANS: Castanet (cast a net) Get it?

Mary's Going For A Song only really troubled Leigh.
Medical practitioners who cut wood express past affection for female.
