Sad news this morning. Actress Maggie Jones, who played Blanche in Corrie, has passed away. She was undoubtedly one of the most popular characters ever in Coronation Street, and provided all the light relief for the past few years. Beat Breakfast listeners were genuinely saddened to hear the news this morning, and we had many texts about it.We're starting to prepare for our Xmas Eve party - which this year will be held in Wexford Town. We talked about Christmas Day rows on the show today. A new survey has revealed that the first row happens at 9.58am, and so, we tried to work out what the 9.58am row might be about. Suggestions included wrapping paper being left everywhere, someone still in bed, or being late for mass!
