So, it's Friday - and nobody wants to be reading or writing blogs, so I will keep this brief!

Well done to Ciara from Carlow - this week's champion on Beat the Bomb with a score of 13. Next week is Beat your Significant Other, with Stephen Bourke Jewellery Design. We shall finally find out once and for all who is more intelligent - the boys or the girls.

I told you last week that we had a record vote for Cheese or No Cheese. Well, we managed to surpass that this week with hundreds and hundreds of votes. Today was the birthday of Axl Rose and of Rick Astley - so we put them head to head on Cheese or No Cheese! "Never Gonna Give You Up" vs "Paradise City" - and to my disappointment, Guns'n'Roses won with 71% of the vote!

Next week is a busy one. We have Beat Your Significant Other, and we also have a great competition with the Brass Cock Centre on the Dunmore Road. Tell us how your Mammy made a show of you, and you could win a pamper day for her worth over two grand!!
