Justin Lee Collins has called for the 82 year old to retire - and many Beat Breakfast listeners agreed. They reckon the cheesy jokes and smarmy talk to Tess is past it's sell by date.

With Freshers Week on at the moment in colleges across the South East, we discussed students and things you need to do before leaving college. Some of the suggestions included building a tower of cans in your living room, stealing traffic cones, and waking up in a strange place. You can read results of a UK survey on this here.
The Hot Air Balloon Championships are on in Waterford all this week. Vinny and Mary visited them yesterday, and we're hopeful we might get to talk to someone up in the sky on tomorrow's show. So here is our random video of the day....
