It was our "Gruesome Story of the Week" on Beat Breakfast.Poor Duan Qiongxiu from China woke up to this thing working it's way towards her using it's claw. It really is the stuff horror movies are made from. Anyhow, you can read more about the story here.
We also dealt with "moments that gave you sweaty palms". A new survey out today reveals that men get more nervous watching a penalty shootout than getting down on one knee and popping the question. We spoke of tense sporting moments - David O'Leary's penalty in 1990, this year's All Ireland Final, and the infamous Champions League match in Istanbul.
